Use only cold temperatures. Set your washing machine to the quick wash or delicate setting. Use any detergent, no softener. No tumble drying and no warm temperatures, these can damage your shoes. Hang them outside, or put them on a towel to dry. Put shoes and insoles separately as this will cut down on the drying time.
They will not be the first ones! It feels like barefoot, minimum interference -maximum comfort. They provide protection againts cold tiles or hor tar/paving.... and it's easy for them to slip them on and off themselves.
